A Parliamentary Whip is a fighter in Parliament.
A Parliamentary Whip is a man on one side who goes round and bribes or asks members to vote on his side.
A Parliamentary Whip is either a Liberal or a Conservative who is a very clever speaker, thus "whipping" the other side when he speaks.
A Parliamentary Whip: in Parliament all members are allowed to say whatever they like, so this, as it partly resembles the lashing of a whip, is called so.
