Admonition: is what you fight with.
Aorta: a man who makes very long speeches.
Austerity: means enjoying what you have got when there isn't any.
Clamour: putting stuff on your face and lips.
Emboss: means to promote to join the board.
Etching: a ticklish feeling.
Graven image: one maid with hands.
LXXX: means love and kisses.
Matrix: a part of a bed.
My brother was born so small that he had to be put in an accumulator.
Pedantry: means pride in the way you walk.
Siren: a dangerous woman, often found in factories.
Theme: the thing that runs down the side of your trousers.
Vandal: a kind of shoe that shows all the toes.
Volcanoes: ordinary mountains except that they omit palaver frequently.
When two children are born together they are called twins. When there are three, they are culprits.
Active verb: shows action, as in "he kissed her". Passive verb: shows passion, as in "she kissed him".
