Funny Exam Answers

Following the success of Funny English Errors and Insights: Illustrated (2010), author Troy Simpson is delighted to announce an exciting new collaboration.

Work has started on a new book, compiled by Troy, which will include original illustrations from renowned international illustrator Virginia Gray.

The book, While There's Life There's Soap: 101 Seriously Funny Exam Answers, comprises 101 genuine schoolboy and schoolgirl bloopers.

The book has a particular focus on history, especially Australian history and British history. If you like 1066 And All That, then you will like While There's Life There's Soap.

Virginia will illustrate around 30 of the bloopers in her unique and engaging style, a sample of which is shown below:

Virginia Gray Illustrator

Virginia studied at Adelaide Art School, then trained in-house as a commercial artist in advertising. After moving to the UK, she worked as a fashion illustrator in London, and then New York for a few years.

Virginia returned to Australia and still works for UK publishers as well as Australian publishers as an illustrator of childrens books. She has worked with most of the educational publishers in the UK.

Virginia has been a childrens book illustrator for more than 16 years, with more than 60 books published so far.

While There's Life There's Soap is expected to be ready for release by Christmas 2012.
